Th2024 Fall Football Registration

PLEASE READ ALL PROGRAM DETAILS!

Registration opens on 02/01/2024 and will remain open until 07/15/2024 (after 07/01/2024 a $25 late fee will be accessed)
Registration cost is $250 until 07/01/2024 with an early bird discount of $25 until 04/15/2024.
A $25 late fee will be charged for anyone who registers after 07/01/2024.
Payment plan available: $50 deposit with $50 payment monthly, balance is due no later than 06/15/2024. If the balance is not paid in full by 06/15/2024, the athlete will NOT be placed on a roster and no refunds will be given.
Registration is nonrefundable.
Rio Rancho Pop Warner does NOT provide equipment, equipment is the responsibility of the athlete.
Required equipment includes helmets, shoulder pads, cleats, practice gear, mouthpiece, etc
Helmets must be certified within the last 2 years.
Pop Warner is a scholastic-driven athletic program; each athlete will be required to turn in their 2023/2024 end-of-year report card.
If scholastic eligibility is not met, then the athlete will have to prove academic progress throughout the season.
Teams MAY have the option to travel for games (typically RRPW elects to travel to Colorado, Texas, and/or Arizona) with the possibility of competing in regionals and nationals at the end of the regular season games.
Local games are held in Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Belen, Albuquerque, and Los Lunas
Mandatory practice will begin on 08/01/2024.
Coaches can choose to practice 5 days a week 2 hrs./day (maximum 10 hours per week) until Labor Day.
After Labor Day practices will be cut to a maximum of 8/hrs. a week.
Practice time and location are at the full discretion of the head coach.
Games will begin Labor Day weekend and may be held on Saturdays or Sundays.
NMPW typically runs game schedules: from youngest to oldest, meaning the youngest age group will be the earliest game and the oldest age group will be the latest game.
League Championships are scheduled for 10/26/2024-10/27/2024.
If your team wins the league championship, the team could elect to continue their season with state, regional, and a national tournament.
There is a possibility football could run until the 2nd week in December.
Changes for the 2024 Season: physicals will not be required; however, each child will need a medical waiver signed by a parent or guardian. After you register, you will need to log back into your profile and sign the waiver.
Your athlete will NOT be able to start practice on 08/01/2024 without a signed waiver, pop Warner participant form, copy of their report card, and a copy of their birth certificate.
